If each sunrise brings a new day and hopes for a new beginning, then the Oberhofer family has a beautiful future in front of them. Eric and Joanna welcomed sweet baby Piper in May and just 9 weeks later, they met up with me at sunrise on the beach to capture some of Piper’s first (of many to come!) photos. The sunrise was absolutely gorgeous the morning of our shoot, and Piper was so sweet- she didn’t even shed one tear! I love that Eric brought along a surf board and Piper just looked absolutely adorable and so tiny on it! (I can’t wait to use that same surf board in future photoshoots to showcase how much she will change and grow as the months pass by). It was such an honor capturing these precious moments for this family!
Get ready for the C-U-T-E-S-T cake smash ever!! I was so excited to work with this sweet family again, and newly engaged!, after taking Mimi’s newborn photos almost a year ago. We met at a local park and it was just perfect for her big debut as a one year old!
I am so excited to share this gorgeous maternity session with all of you. After months of planning, and a couple of rained out dates, I was finally able to meet up with Ashley and James for their maternity session at the beach. (Two of my favorite things!) Ashley had shared with me previously that she really wanted to include her sweet doggy Cupcake in her session, and of course being the animal lover I was, I encouraged her to bring Cupcake with her. I just love when families incorporate their furry family members too. Cupcake loved being the center of attention and was really sweet with Ashley’s baby bump. Cupcake even let me get in quite a bit of doggy snuggles. Lucky for us, we were able to get this maternity session in, because Ashley’s adorable baby girl Adriana Jade, came shortly after our session! Ashley and James – I hope you love your photos and are enjoying that sweet baby girl!
I had such a wonderful time photographing this sweet little family! Here is a peek into their lifestyle session.
I had the pleasure of meeting Kim when my son was in the NICU. Kim was a member of the same mom group I had joined when I was pregnant and being a NICU nurse, she made sure to come visit with me during one of her shifts. I didn’t have the opportunity to attend a meeting before I had my son due to complications and I just thought it was the sweetest gesture for her to come see us. Kim was also pregnant at the time with her very first child – a soon to be very beautiful girl, that also spent some time in the NICU herself. Kim was such a devoted mommy during that time she cared for her daughter while she continued to gain strength and then eventually was sent home with Kim from the hospital. Fast forward to about a month later, well exactly a month after Kennedy was born, and we finally found a date and beautiful weather for this session. Kennedy was officially one month old on her session date and was such a good baby for her session. She was wide awake the whole time and you could tell she was the biggest blessing to both Kim and Nate. Kim created the most dreamy nursery I have ever laid eyes on and it was the perfect backdrop for Kennedy’s session. Kim and Nate – thank you so much for trusting me to capture these precious memories for you to hold dear forever.
